What a perfectly adorable story to fill you with the Christmas spirit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Author Tina Radcliffe does it again with her newest small town romance filled with Christmas cheer and wintry goodness. With an assortment of lovable pets and plenty of amusing characters, I was completely immersed in this Aspen Creek, Colorado, story of second chances and forgiveness.
Jo Webster, a therapy dog owner and exercise instructor at the Rio Grande Senior Living Community, has dreams to open a quite needed local animal rescue center. She tries to balance two jobs, her well-meaning mother, and her growing fur family, which includes a beagle in need of a prosthetic leg, plus prepare for her favorite season, Christmas. When the new veterinarian in town, Nate Morris, turns out to be her former fiancé, life gets even more complicated.
Ruggedly handsome Nate is a great hero. Compassionate, caring, understanding….and he too loves animals. With the determination to make their relationship professional and maybe return to the friendship zone, both work hard to stay emotionally detached from each other. However, with a community of folks encouraging something more and a reliance on direction from their faith, will the couple resolve their past issues and strive for the goals they both want?
I loved the sweet revealing of true love based on forgiveness and respect. All the characters were fun, with witty banter sparkling on the pages. And the details of Christmas preparations were delightful. The Christmas Extravaganza parade and tree lighting, the annual Winter Fest with a craft bazaar, snowy sleigh rides, festive holiday decorations, and a treasured snow globe….plus seasonal treats from Patti Jo’s Cafe and Bakery. (Cinnamon rolls and pumpkin pie!)
If you love feel-good, uplifting romances with holiday charm, you’ll find this story, with its perfect ending, is just what you need to brighten your Christmas season. I highly recommend A K-9 Christmas Blessing by Tina Radcliffe!

TEATIME TREATS-mini cranberry white chocolate scones
I added 1/4 cup dried cranberries and 1/4 cup white chocolate chips to a basic butter scone recipe. After patting the dough to a 3/4” thickness, I used a 1-3/4” biscuit cutter to form the mini scones. After baking and cooling the scones, I melted white chocolate chips to drizzle on the tops, then added a mixture of Christmas sprinkles to decorate the treats.
